IMPORTANT BEDDING INFORMATION
THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOUR BEDDING PURCHASE
Note: Information below is for reference only and subject to change without notice. For more information, please contact our Web Sales Department at sales@rothmanfurniture.com.
The National Sleep Council suggests that consumers test their new bedding set choice by laying on it for at least 10 to 15 minutes. If you have not had the opportunity to do so, we invite you to rest-test your new bed before leaving today.
Bedding Impressions
Bedding impressions and softening should be expected as you use your bed. The body-conforming coils and comfort cushioning materials are beginning to work with you! The impressions are caused by the settling of these materials to provide support where you need it. To be considered a defect, body impressions or sinking of any areas of your mattress must exceed 1.5 inches.
Mattress Protector
Be sure to protect your purchase with a Mattress Protector. If your bedding becomes soiled or stained and you experience a service issue, the staining could void the Manufacturers Warranty. If you do not have a Mattress Protector, your salesperson will be happy to tell you more about the Protectors we carry.
Support and Warranty
Queen or King-size bedding requires specific support in order for your warranty to remain in effect. If you are purchasing a bed along with your bedding from Rothman, the proper support will be provided. If you are purchasing a bedding-set to use on an existing bed or support system in your home, please be sure that you are using a Center Support with a rigid leg that reaches the floor and slats. Without these two crucial supports, your bedding could become damaged and the damage will not be covered under the Warranty. If you have any questions, please consult with your salesperson.
Mattress Flipping
Todays mattresses do not require flipping, but you should rotate your mattress once every 6 months, head to foot, in order to prolong its use and comfort and prevent pre-mature flattening of padding materials.
Bedding Impressions
Your new mattress and foundation together will determine how high your bed sits. Please check to be sure that the bedding you ave chosen will be the correct height on your bed prior to taking possession. Both low and high-profile foundations may be available for your mattress set to make it the proper height.
